Closed. Coverage around early 2025 tied the shutdown to wider CityWalk security and access changes. If an old review, Groupon page or gift-card email still points at this hostname, treat it as a dead booking trail.
What used to be there
For years you could book short indoor skydiving sessions right on the CityWalk strip—briefing, suit, a few rotations, photos, back into the crowd. It was built for discovery: easy to stumble into, easy to gift, hard to mistake for a quiet training gym.
That setting taught a lot of Angelenos what bodyflight feels like. It also meant the tunnel’s fate was tangled up with the district around it. We wrote a longer note on that in the CityWalk history.
Why old links still show up
Search results and blog posts age slower than storefronts. People keep typing “Hollywood indoor skydiving” or following a bookmark from 2019. We’d rather those clicks land on a clear answer than a pretend checkout.
If you still want to fly
You’ll need a tunnel that’s actually operating. Before you pick one, these help:

- What a first flight is like
- How to choose a tunnel
- Tourist tunnels vs training centres
Always check hours, medical rules and prices on the facility’s own site. We don’t take reservations.
Tunnel Field Guide isn’t affiliated with Universal, CityWalk or any commercial indoor-skydiving brand. More on that on About us.
